Last Thursday, 28th November, Grace Blue hosted their Best of British Bash. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last week at M&C Saatchi’s offices to celebrate the leadership talent working in Britain’s creative sector, its influence on the global stage and far-reaching impact on the economy, politics, media, and society.
We were joined by four inspirational speakers, Stephen Woodford from the Advertising Association, Amber de Botton from The Guardian, Sonoo Singh from Creative Salon and M&C Saatchi’s Zaid Al-Qassab – it was an opportunity to reflect positively on the important role that everyone working in the sector plays:
- How we generate over £40bn in advertising spend
- How we have become the world’s second biggest (and fastest growing) exporting superpower in advertising
- How our work can help accelerate social and political justice, as exemplified by the combined firepower of investigative journalism and subsequent drama around the Post Office scandal
- How we are leading the creative industry’s response to sustainability
- How we have pioneered the largest industry census in the world
- And how our unique melting pot of British talent and culture delivers world class innovation and strategic prowess
A heartfelt thank you to Zaid Al-Qassab and the team at M&C Saatchi for being such exceptional hosts.
At Grace Blue, we are committed to doing everything we can to support you, the inspirational leaders that are being asked to transform business around the world. We are always available for a chat over coffee about your next set of challenges. Recently, we shared some thoughts on what makes an inspirational leader with the Independent and you can see that here. We would love to hear your thoughts on this and where we can help you more next year.
