Two new appointments in APAC enhance executive leadership search and selection.
Grace Blue Partnership has appointed Ayesha Desquiens and Valerie Shen respectively as Partner and Associate Consultant of the Singapore office.
With offices in Singapore, Shanghai, London and New York, Grace Blue is a leading global executive search firm specialising in transformational leadership talent. Partnering with businesses who are invested in building valuable customer relationships, Grace Blue has supported brands, independent and network agencies, media and technology organisations to appoint their leaders.
In its 15th year of operation, Grace Blue has been going from strength to strength. The two new hires are a testament of a growing business across the globe and the investments that the executive search firm is making in the APAC region.
Desquiens, who is originally from India, is a seasoned international executive recruiter who has lived and worked across India, Japan and France and has specialised in helping brands from the consumer, technology and media industries in key markets such as Japan, India, Korea, Australia and Europe. With a background in media production, Desquiens went on to develop her recruitment career with Robert Walters in Tokyo, Japan. Fluent in English and Hindi and proficient in Japanese and French, she will join the team from Paris before moving to the APAC region later in the year to partner closely with global clients headquartered in EMEA and the US and hiring in the APAC region.
Shen, who is based in Singapore, has a long marketing and advertising experience with over 10 years spent at leading agencies such as Y&R and Hogarth Worldwide managing blue chip clients in industries such as academia, automotive, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, retail and tourism industries across APAC. Most recently Shen was the Talent Consultant at WPP where she worked on regional executive searches for the network. Having tried her hand out at recruitment, she decided to pivot her career and foray further into the recruitment world.
Both Desquines and Shen will be reporting to Helen Duffy, CEO APAC.
“We are thrilled to have Ayesha and Valerie joining the team to expand our footprint and deepen our expertise in Asia. This will allow us to support our clients to find the very best leaders across Japan, Korea and India, as well as those markets including China and Southeast Asia, where we have become well established over the past eight years”, says Helen Duffy.
“I am excited to welcome Ayesha and Valerie. The investment in the Singapore office is a testament of our growth and a response to our clients’ needs to further support them in the appointment of transformational leaders in the entire APAC region across brands, agencies, media and the technology sector” adds Juliet Timms, Founder of Grace Blue Partnership.
